Swimming Pool – Armed Liner

Description :
This is a soft PVC membrane, produced by calendaring. It helps to ensure the swimming pool waterproofing. It consists of two PVC sheets, intimately welded to one another and reinforced by a polyester frame. The armed membrane, of one and a half millimetres thickness, has an exceptional strength and the very good dimensional stability. The membrane is weldable, can’t be rot, resistant to bad weathers, air pollution, products of water treatment compatible with PVC, stabilized against the U.V rays, with a remarkable elasticity, cadmium-free guarantee. During the calendaring, staff fungicides and bactericides are embedded in each sheet to prevent algal blooms and microbial flora. The membrane can be used on any support: new or old and of any kind: concrete, plaster, heavy tiled masonry, steel panels, aluminium, wood, polyethylene, PVC. The membrane is suitable for renovation or construction of all new swimming pools whatever their shape and dimensions. The membrane can be used for indoor or outdoor, public or private swimming pools. The membrane is shaped on site.

Warranty: 10 years non-degressive on waterproofing.
   Support

Armed PVC coating can be directly laid on supports whose surface is completely deprived of any asperities, uniform and clean (coated finish). Indeed, some asperities could be detrimental to the coating. If the support has accentuated roughness, if possible, sanding and interposing a protective screen (non-woven Felt) plays an anti-punching role. This screen will be laid edge to edge.
To prevent any movement during the installation, it is better to stick by point to support the non-woven felt with glue type “Special Felt” or through a bi-adhesive band.
The type of protective shield is chosen depending on the support.
   Weld

Welds are made by hot air with a device type “Leister Triac” at a temperature about 600°C. An overlap of 5cm is necessary to ensure adequate resistance to shear. The weld is then confirmed by a cord in liquid PVC ensuring its aesthetic view and a waterproof making.
  Installation method

Concerning the installation method, walls are attached under edges to a « Hung » (photo) rail, to do that, a cane is added on the top of the PVC membrane. A blockage cane will suit above ensuring a perfect waterproof, an aesthetic work and an anti-hooking security system.
